Active Release Technique® (ART)

Active Release Technique (ART) is a patented, hands-on treatment and case management system that allows the doctors of Athletes Only Performance Therapies to diagnose and treat soft tissue injuries. The doctors at Athletes Only Performance Therapies are uniquely qualified to treat soft tissue injuries. They are Active Release Technique (ART) Full Body Trained and specialize in finding the biomechanical issue quickly and treating it with the most advanced soft tissue therapies

Sports Chiropractic/Spinal Manipulation

Countless Athletes have benefited from spinal manipulation.  It is a safe and effective way to improve performance.  It has been clinically proven to reduce pain and stiffness by increasing the range of motion of a spinal or extremity joint. Restoring motion to a  joint helps normalize nerve function and reduce inflammation.

Graston Technique®

Graston Technique® is a form of instrument-assisted soft tissue mobilization that effectively treats soft tissue (tendon, ligament, muscle and fascia) adhesions, restrictions, and scar tissue. Whether the injury is acute or chronic, Graston Technique® benefits Athletes  with its unique healing properties by removing the soft tissue irritation that often is the cause that prevents injuries from healing completely.

Kinesiology Taping

Kinesiology taping, often known as "kinesio taping" is a form of specialty  taping that allows for stabilization of muscles and joints and aids Athletes during injury recovery. This helps the athlete compete with significantly less pain while restoring muscular strength. It also improves lymphatic drainage and circulation to promote healing.

Laser Therapy

Low Level Laser Therapy (LLLT) is the application of near and far infrared light over the injured site to improve wound healing, improve tendinopathies, reduce inflammation and reduce acute and chronic pain.

Myofascial Trigger Point Therapy

Elimination and control of trigger point pain is one our main focuses. We use a variety of procedures including deep tissue ischemic compression, Active Release Technique®, Graston Technique®, as well as electrical modalities. As the tissues improve, appropriate exercises are given to strengthen the area. Most importantly we treat the entire Athlete, not just the pain, to ensure a great result.

Physio-Therapeutic Modalities

Physical Therapeutic Modalities services include Ultrasound, Electrical Stimulation (EMS), Moist Heat, Cryotherapy (Cold/Ice) and Rehabilitative Exercise. The doctors at Athletes Only Performance Therapies have been trained in many forms of exercise assessment.
